It’s no secret how much the QAS value the hard-work of our volunteers.

Today marks the start of National Volunteer Week and any opportunity we have to spread the word of the great work our wonderful volunteers do, we’ll take it!

This year is extra special for our volunteers with this being the 30th anniversary of the initiation of our ‘Local Ambulance Committees’. These committees consist of community members who volunteer their time to fund-raise and offer valuable life-saving education on CPR and first aid to locals in their towns and surrounds.

So, this week, we celebrate the 30 year milestone of our LACs, but to all our other volunteers as well – here’s to you! We value and appreciate all of your contributions to the QAS.
